2022 CURRICULUM DESIGN INSTITUTES

June 13-14 in Bozeman OR August 9-10 in Anaconda

Summer is a great time to refresh and develop your curriculum plans for the next school year!
Join MECC for 1-2 days of professional learning designed to support you where you are at in your curriculum planning. Agenda includes: 
  • Designing or refining innovative standards-aligned units: get a refresher or learn ways to enhance your units
  • Opportunities to engage in collaboration with colleagues &/or  teachers from other Montana schools with similar roles
  • Structured & unstructured time to design and develop unit plans and assessments with side-by-side coaching available from curriculum specialists
  • Learn ways to connect proficiency-based grading principles to your assessments
  • Focus on the curriculum and content area of your choice
REGISTRATION IS FREE TO SSoM/MECC Member Districts!
A limited number of SCHOLARSHIPS are available to non-member districts!
NEED LODGING? Discounted room blocks available:
  • Bozeman - MSU Campus Housing is available for $50 per room per night. Sleeps up to two. Option to rent a "pod" of rooms if traveling with colleagues &/or family! MSU housing closes June 12. Use code MECC2022. 
  • Anaconda - The Forge Hotel is offering a discounted room rate of $96/night + tax. Deadline for room block is July 9. Call (406) 797-4100 and reference the 'School Services of Montana' room block.
