"Yes, Let's...Create Innovative Learning with STE(A)M"
Dr. Wendi Laurence (Park City, Utah) is a science educator and Senior Project Coordinator with Guardians of Honor, LLC supporting the NASA Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (NSTEM) contract. She has dedicated her career to the ideal that no dream be deferred and no potential unrealized.
As founder of Create-osity, Wendi’s work supported organizations that include: Discovery Gateway Children’s Museum, Boston Museum of Science, PBS, WGBH, and various NASA programs. Dr. Laurence was also an adjunct assistant professor in the Graduate School of Education at Portland State University. In 2016, she received the NSTA Wendell G. Mohling Outstanding Aerospace Educator award, has served as NSTA’s District XIV Director, and serves on the Best K-12 Book Awards committee and as a reviewer for NSTA’s Science and Children.

"Integrating Rough Drafts and Revising into Teaching and Learning: A Mathematics Perspective"
Dr. Amanda Jansen (University of Delaware) is a mathematics educator and the author of Rough Draft Math: Revising to Learn. She is committed to honoring students’ voices and promoting equity through motivation and engagement.
Dr. Jansen is a Professor in the mathematics education program in the School of Education at the University of Delaware. She prepares future elementary and middle school teachers at UD, and she also works with secondary teachers by providing professional development. Mandy was a middle grades mathematics teacher before becoming a professor, and she earned her PhD in educational psychology at Michigan State University. Her book, Rough Draft Math, was published by Stenhouse.
