Join us for the 8th Annual STEM Summer Institute, a one-of-a-kind, Montana-made professional learning experience designed for K-12 educators. Leave with practical strategies, classroom-ready resources, and renewed confidence to integrate STEM in ways that are relevant, rigorous, and engaging for students. Engage in breakout sessions and learning experiences of your choice, collaboration with peers, get inspired by our keynote speaker and national and local STEM educators.
This year’s conference offers opportunities for STEM learning across disciplinary lenses and at different grade levels in the following strands:

In order to provide scholarship opportunities for the event, the STEM Summer Institute is partnering with Data Science 4 Everyone, a coalition created by the University of Chicago to ensure every K-12 student has the data literacy skills they need for future-ready learning.Funds are available to help educators with a portion of the costs to attend the conference. Our priority is to support Montana educators, specifically classroom teachers. However, we acknowledge that the funding landscape is shifting for many, so we still encourage you to apply for what you need. Please submit your application by April 30, 2026. We will follow up with you on the status and next steps in early May. Please note that scholarships are limited to the funds available and are not guaranteed by completing an application.
