Flexible Virtual Conference  ▪  August 9 - 11, 2021
The Montana State University Science Math Resource Center and School Services of Montana (SSoM) have partnered to host this annual science professional learning event designed for Montana's K-12 educators. This three-day virtual conference provides high quality professional learning focused on the advancement of science, STEM, and technology integration in Montana and surrounding states. This year we are also featuring sessions supportive of the new Computer Science standards and integration into STEM teaching and learning in your classrooms.
 
Highlights include:
  • Two Keynote Presentations:
    • ​Jason Baldes, Ecologist - “Finding Your Buffalo: Culture, Change, and Curriculum”
    • Kyle Calderwood, Technology Coordinator - “Failure IS an Option”
  • Two Panel Discussions: multiple perspectives and ideas for connecting teaching & learning to real world applications in STEM fields
    • "Research in Action" Panel
    • "Computer Science Integration" Panel
  • 20+ Breakout Sessions to choose from! 
  • Resources Round-up: Sponsors will share their area of expertise, resources, and ideas to enhance STEM teaching & learning by 15-minute demo or overview
  • Lunch & Learn Roundtable Discussions: 30-minute participant-led discussions to share ideas, resources, and strategies, and network with educators
