SPRING 2020 BID ARCHIVE
The School Services of Montana (SSoM) Spring 2020 Bid is open for submissions as of October 1, 2019. As this bid is for product delivery in the second half of the school year (January - May 2020) we will not be making any major changes to the items on the bid spreadsheet. This ensures that the products currently being enjoyed by students across Montana will continue to have access to these same products in the second half of the school year. The main exceptions include deletions of products that have been discontinued by the manufacturer with no equivalent replacement product availability. We also understand that the aquisition of Food Services of American by US Foods may create some deviations with the bid, and we will cross that bridge if and when we get there.
Note to Manufacturers and Brokers
This bid is open to Montana distributors (i.e. Sysco and US Foods/FSA) who can not only provide bid pricing for 100% of the items on our IFB but who can also satisfy the requirements of our IFB (i.e. delivery requirements). Since this bid is now in progress, we will not be adding new items to the bid, and we will only notify Sysco and US Foods/FSA of Alternative Product availability (products not currently listed on the Approved Product list in the bid spreadsheet but that are equivalent to the specs of the Approved Products listed) in special situations.

All new products (new items or Alternative products for existing items) must be approved by our Advisory Committee members for consideration for the next bid (March 2020).
