MONTANA SCI-TECH SUMMIT
2020 FULL STEAM AHEAD!
*** POSTPONED ***
CONFERENCE UPDATE After much consideration, our planning team at School Services of Montana and the MSU Science Math Resource Center have decided to postpone the upcoming Sci-Tech Summit virtual conference scheduled for Aug. 12-14, 2020. We heard your concerns: The timing of the conference coincides with your need to take care of yourself while also focusing on and preparing for the upcoming school year. Therefore, we have decided that postponing the conference to a later date would be more supportive of school professional learning plans leading up to the new school year. We are currently working on considerations for a new date and will keep you informed. We are also working on some select, complimentary professional learning webinar offerings to support teachers on August 13, 2020, to spark some ideas and share some resources for the new year. Stay tuned! In the meantime, please complete this brief Sci-Tech Summit 2020 Survey to share your thinking about dates and conference plans. Thank you for your understanding and for sharing this message with others that may need to be informed of this change. Please note that if you registered and paid for this conference, we will be contacting you to issue a refund soon. |

Montana's summer of 2020 just got a little hotter! "2020 Full STEAM Ahead" is a combination of our annual Science Summer Institute and our annual Tech Summit, an incredible three-day conference which we will hold virtually this year.
School Services of Montana (SSoM) and the MSU Science Math Resource Center (SMRC) are proud to bring you the 3rd Annual Sci-Tech Summit: 2020 Full STEAM Ahead. This conference is designed for educators, administrators, and organizations serving schools and supporting STEAM-related learning in grades K through 12. The focus this year is to provide inspiration, strategies, and support for both integrated and discipline-specific science curriculum & instruction through STEAM. Whether you’re an elementary teacher looking to integrate science and/or technology and fit it all in, or a secondary teacher looking for strategies and resources to engage students in STEAM through your disciplinary content, this conference is for you! Administrators will also benefit by learning from the STEM/STEAM work going on in schools around the state!
