AI Systems Readiness for District and School Leaders with Wren Hoffman:
As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly integrated into all aspects of society, school districts face the critical challenge of preparing students, educators, and systems for a world where AI literacy isn't just helpful—it's essential. This interactive workshop provides district leaders with a comprehensive framework and practical tools to assess and advance their organization's AI readiness. This session moves beyond the "should we use AI tools?" question to focus on the more fundamental challenge: How do we ensure all students are prepared to thrive in an AI-integrated world, regardless of their background or circumstances?

Building AI Literacy: Understanding and Navigating AI in the Classroom with Connor Mulvaney: This session introduces practical activities to build AI literacy in the classroom. Participants will gain foundational knowledge about how Large Language Models work, strengthen their own AI literacy skills, and explore classroom-ready examples that they can implement right away. Leave with concrete strategies to help students understand, use, and think critically about AI technologies in their learning and lives.

Prompting Is Teaching: Leveraging Pedagogical Practice for Powerful AI Prompts with Caitlin Byers, M.Ed.:
In this session, you’ll discover how the four core steps of effective prompt engineering—diagnosing the task, framing clear instructions, delivering formative feedback, and reflecting to refine—mirror the teaching strategies you already use every day. Through hands-on activities rooted in real classroom scenarios, you’ll leave with ready-to-use prompt templates, a simple mnemonic to guide your workflow, and a concrete plan to integrate AI-powered lessons that deepen student understanding.
